Reed Finance are working with a leading Distribution company recruiting for a Finance Business Partner.
Salary circa. £60,000 + car + 10% bonus
Home based with weekly visits to Bristol and Cardiff and monthly visits to Devon & Cornwall.
In the role you'll be providing business partnering, commercial analysis and decision support to the SLT across the 4 sites.
You will work closely with the Managers and divisional Senior Leadership Team to maximise business performance and identify risks and opportunities, supported by a centralised management accounts team.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide support, challenge, and insight to the Managers of each site you support.
- Deliver financial information, analysis and commentary to key stakeholders including: Weekly and monthly P&L reporting, monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, variance analysis, KPI’s, benchmarking and ad-hoc analysis to drive business performance.
- Provide commercial support to the Managers focusing on understanding and explaining business performance variances and identifying risks and opportunities to enable delivery of their targets.
- Develop, challenge, and question the budget/forecast assumptions and KPIs on an ongoing basis.
- Provide insight into customer and sales team performance.
- Production of the internal Monthly Reporting pack and participation in the Monthly Review Meeting.
- Overall responsibility to produce the monthly Management Accounts and all central reporting working in collaboration with the central finance team.
- Production and evaluation of business cases including capital expenditure proposals.
- Ensure that strong financial controls are in place across all branches.
- Ensure that all company policies and statutory requirements are adhered to.
- Support the Financial Controller as required through analysis and project activity.
