The ideal applicant will bring experience in the construction industry and a track record of translating analysis into actionable outcomes with a unique blend of strategic insight and practical expertise. You will partner with leadership teams, building trusted relationships and offering high-quality decision-making support that drives business success.

Your ability to deliver insightful analysis will enable smarter decisions on capital investments, workflow delivery, and business performance. A natural problem solver, you will monitor KPIs, identify variances, and propose innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

You will shape the big picture, leveraging expert financial modelling to influence both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy. Finally, your knack for innovation and optimisation will streamline processes, automate reports, and ensure timely delivery of accurate performance insights.

Your Impact:

• Strategic Partnering: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and support the evaluation and modeling of commercial opportunities.
• Insightful Decision-Making: Deliver proactive, high-quality analysis to enable informed, optimal investment decisions while considering business-wide implications.
• Expert Guidance: Offer expert advice, coaching, and analytical support to leaders, ensuring decisions are both strategic and data-driven.
• Innovative Initiatives: Design and implement finance initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Performance Optimisation: Evaluate outcomes against strategic objectives, refine processes, and deliver actionable insights to maximise ROI.
• Streamlined Reporting: Develop automated reports, improve reporting standards, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of financial insights.

Your Attributes

You will have:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).
• A proven track record in financial modeling and commercial analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills - you can explain complex finance concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail, with advanced analytical and presentation skills.
• Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
