Job Description

The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) include:

  • Receive, log and record all purchase invoices
  • Maintain customer and supplier records in the sales and purchase ledgers
  • Set up weekly payment runs
  • Post all entries into banks and reconcile banks
  • Maintain the prepayments and accruals schedules and prepare nominal journals for prepayments and accruals.
  • Prepare certain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with annual external audit and year end accounts preparation

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the role of Finance Assistant (HYBRID WORKING) will have:

  • AAT Level 4 qualification
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong excel skills - Vlookups/Pivot tables
  • Good communication skills
