Finance Assistant - Entertainment

Are you a talented finance assistant seeking to expand your experience in the finance sector? An exciting opportunity awaits with a global entertainment provider! They are in need of an aspiring individual to support them during the demanding audit period, taking on additional tasks for an initial period of up to 6 months. Key Accountabilities:

1. Assist in preparation of financial statements for statutory entities.
2. Assist in providing documentation for auditors.
3. Assist with preparing the balance sheet reconciliation.
4. Assist with G&A reporting.
5. Assist with placing insurance for touring and festival business.

Main Activities:

1. Supporting the financial reporting manager in providing documentation to the external auditors in a timely manner.
2. Prepare month end journals for items such as prepayments, interest income and accruals.
3. Preparation of monthly G&A files.
4. Maintain monthly insurance reports.
5. Exposure to financial statements preparation.
6. Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable request as requested by the Financial Reporting Manager.

Key Skills:

1. School leaver/graduate preferred.
2. Knowledge of Excel preferred but can be taught.
3. Positive, "can do" attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
4. Ability to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.

Please note that this role is a temporary role and will be mainly office based at a central London location!
