As an integral member of the BritNed finance team, reporting to the BritNed Finance Business Partner, the key responsibilities will encompass the entire finance function. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing month-end reporting, and supporting budget holders and the management accountant in budget management and the development of the 5-year business plan. The role requires a proactive approach to developing and shaping the financial and control processes of the joint venture, ensuring that all financial activities align with the organization's strategic objectives.
Being part of a joint venture (JV) finance team means balancing the needs of both National Grid and TenneT, whilst demonstrating commitment to BritNed. This role is embedded within the wider BritNed JV team, working collaboratively with the commercial and operational teams to drive financial performance, whilst being based in different offices and countries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in all aspects of a small finance team, in a highly commercial environment, giving exposure to the full finance function, end to end P&L, year-end audit, cash flow analysis and business partnering.
This role is based out of our Warwick office, and we’d hope to see you at least two days per week but you’re welcome to be in the office more often if that would work best for you. We’re happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!
