Delta was formed in 2017 by a group of industry experts board who wanted to revolutionize the value of outsourced procurement.

This position is fully remote within the UK.

As Finance Assistant, you will be joining the Buyers Edge Platform Ltd team, one of the Buyers Edge Platform (BEP) Europe group Companies. Reporting to the Financial Controller, and working alongside one of the recently acquired brands, your role will involve supporting the Senior Leadership team with financial support as you become Delta’s Finance Business Partner.

Your impact:

• Inputting statistics from suppliers
• Accounts receivable – posting and emailing sales invoices, chasing outstanding debtors
• Accounts payable – posting transactions, processing payment runs
• Processing the monthly payroll, preparation of the payroll bridge
• Verifying employee expenses and executing payment
• Preparing and processing VAT returns/PAYE/P11D’s
• Month end close – journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations
• Preparation of the monthly management reports
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing monthly reports for the SLT
• Working with the team to implement process improvement
• Assisting with the compilation of the year end audit files and liaison with external auditors
• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly forecasting and annual budgets

About you:

• Working towards/qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification (AAT minimum, CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or a strong QBE
• Proven experience with management accounts and monthly reporting cycle
• Diligent and able to work efficiently with attention to detail, within time scales and deadlines
• Strong Excel and computer skills preferred
• Previous experience of working for a GPO preferred
