Finance Assistant

Rapier Employment are looking for a Finance Assistant to support our well-known client based in Banbury on a possible temporary to permanent basis.

Position: Finance Assistant

Times: Flexible on times between 08:30 - 17:30

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Salary: £12.82 - £14.36 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Check integrity and reconcile all data supplied by Global depots
2. Raise sales invoices and purchase requests to the purchasing/sales team
3. Long-term ownership of the credo P&L to give visibility of trading
4. Be the main point of contact for customer work orders
5. Assist with month-end trading to ensure accounts are finalized accurately and on time
6. Create the Customer Back up using the collected activity from the supplier invoice
7. Reconcile monthly CT revenue, transport costs, and margin analysis
8. Provide cover to FA on transport processes
9. Create and provide the customer KPI regarding overall global spend and work orders completed in the period
10. Any ad-hoc finance tasks and support that may reasonably be required

Experience required/desirable for the role:

1. Demonstrated excellent analytical and numerical skills (required)
2. Experience of Microsoft Office especially Excel (required)
3. Ability to work on own initiative while communicating effectively with key stakeholders (required)
4. Demonstrated effectiveness in a busy pressured environment (required)
5. Experience of Oracle desirable, but not essential (desirable)
6. Experience of Supply Chain finance desirable, but not essential (desirable)
