Job Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Victoria, Hybrid working

Hourly Rate: £13.50-14

Contract Length: Temporary, 4 weeks

Working Pattern: Full-Time, 9am-5pm

Start Date: ASAP

As a Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our client and their team with various financial tasks. Your attention to detail and expertise in Excel will contribute to the smooth operation of their finance department. This is a temporary position with a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reconciling financial records and transactions for year-end
2. Managing a large backlog of financial data, applying your analytical skills to provide accurate information
3. Utilising Excel to perform VLookUps, create formulas, apply filters, and manage data effectively
4. Collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records
5. Providing administrative support to the finance department as needed

Skills and Experience:

1. Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLookUps, formulas, filters, and data management
2. Previous experience as an accounts/finance assistant, with a solid understanding of financial processes and principles
3. Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data accurately
4. Meticulous attention to detail to maintain the integrity of financial records
5. Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
