Job Opportunity: Temporary Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant
Location: Dunfermline Full-Time, Office-Based
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 9:00 AM to 5:15 PM, Friday - 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable construction and development company based in Dunfermline for a Temporary Finance Assistant to join their team for a 3-month assignment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in finance, particularly in the areas of purchase ledger, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting with purchase ledger and invoicing processes.
  2. Performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate financial records.
  3. Supporting the Finance Manager with daily financial tasks and reporting.
  4. Ensuring all financial data is entered accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Assisting with any other finance-related tasks as needed.

Preferred/Essential Skills and Experience:

  1. Proficiency in COINS accounting software (preferred).
  2. Strong experience with purchase ledger and reconciliations.
  3. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  6. Previous experience in a finance assistant role or similar is essential.

This is a full-time, office-based role in Dunfermline, working alongside a supportive team in a well-established company. The role offers regular working hours with a 4 PM finish on Fridays, ensuring a great work-life balance.
