Job description

Our client is the UK's established market leader in its field of metal products manufacture, supplying into the filtration, automotive, building & construction, and general engineering sectors. Financially robust and with an 80% market share, they now seek to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant to undertake day-to-day accounting duties as part of an established in-house team.


As Finance Assistant, You Will
  1. post daily cash receipts to the accounts receivable ledger & match to the relevant invoice
  2. manage banking transactions
  3. reconcile accounts receivable & report to the bank invoice finance facility
  4. undertake credit control
  5. input supplier invoices
  6. prepare recharge invoices
  7. handle accruals and prepayments
  8. post journals to the general ledger
  9. complete month end bank account reconciliations
  10. complete financial reports and analysis
  11. assist with budgets
As Finance Assistant, You Will Need
  1. Level 3 AAT
  2. good experience of Excel
  3. experience using financial systems
  4. a proactive & supportive disposition
  5. experience of ERP (preferable) & Sage Payroll (beneficial)
