Finance Assistant
Garforth
£25,000
12 Month FTC

Elevation Accounting and Finance are working with a leading innovator in their respective field looking to bring an additional Finance Assistant to their team on a 12 month FTC.

To be successful you will be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills and the confidence to make decisions autonomously, and in line with company policies and strategic direction.

Duties of Finance Assistant:

  1. Manage day-to-day activities related to the vendor ledger.
  2. Process employee expenses and mileage returns and manage the online expenses system.
  3. Process daily bank payments and receipts ensuring reconciliation with SAP and bank statements.
  4. Process incoming customer payments and account allocations.
  5. Address accounting queries both internally and externally in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Maintain accurate accounting records and files for year-end audit purposes.
  7. Undertake and maintain a working knowledge of the SAP system relevant to your role.

To apply for Finance Assistant:
  1. Experience within a finance team (Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger).
  2. Available to start at short notice.
  3. Experience using accountancy software.
