Seeking a competent and experienced Finance Assistant for a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on accuracy and a keen eye for detail.


Client Details

Our client is a well-established organisation in Eastbourne that operates across Sussex and Kent. They are a growing SME that has been established in the local area for over 30 years.


Description

As the Finance Assistant, your role responsibilities will include:

  1. Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable.
  2. Posting of customer invoices onto system.
  3. Bank reconciliation.
  4. Credit Control.
  5. Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial related problems.
  6. Support in audit processes and tax preparation.
  7. CIS returns.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

  1. A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  2. Experience working in a varied Finance role.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software.
  4. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong analytical ability.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  8. An ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

An estimated salary range of £32,000 - £35,000.
