As a Finance Assistant, you will support the Assistant Management Accountant by proactively inputting sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash book transactions, and more!

As a Finance Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Input Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Cash Book transactions on a timely basis.
2. Make payment requests via BACs and take over the phone card payments.
3. Proactively liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to address any issues.
4. Resolve any complaints and service issues quickly to the satisfaction of the customer.
5. Support colleagues with the import of operational data into the finance systems.

We are looking for a Finance Assistant with the following skills and experience:

1. Excellent with Excel, and have a good understanding/use of Microsoft’s 365 suite.
2. GCSE standard passes including Maths and English, or equivalent.
3. Flexible and adaptable to change, and able to cope with multiple tasks at any one time.
4. Good analytical skills; attention to detail is a must.
5. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

In return, the successful Finance Assistant will receive a salary of up to £23,400 - £25,000, plus the following benefits:
