Job description

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading building products manufacturing company based in Leeds. Due to significant growth, they are looking to recruit multiple Field Technical Support Engineers to join their expanding field installations team that covers the UK.

Location: North London - Home Based, travelling throughout the area
Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 + bonus c £8,000 pa OTE £46k pa

The Field Technical Support Engineer will have a strong technical background and hands-on experience of the Installation process and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities of the Field Technical Support Engineer will include:
  • Support the development of training and online courses for new products
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on faults and failures to reach robust solutions
  • Provide Self-help content and verbal Quality & Technical support
  • Support a Quality & Technical Support Line on a Rota with other Engineers
  • Provide input from the Field to drive Factory process improvements
  • Field training - working away for a week at a time on a Rota basis with other engineers
We are keen to speak with Field Technical Support Engineers with the following:
  • Knowledge of Installation process and troubleshooting (composite doors, windows, garage doors considered)
  • Experience of working and communicating remotely promoting team collaboration
  • Experience of performance monitoring and auditing
  • Experience of developing work procedures
  • Comfortable with technical detail and developing improvement plans
