Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an installations company to recruit a Field Service Engineer.

Salary: £36k pa + Company van + Fuel Card + Overtime

Location: Luton, Oxford, Reading, Bedford

Hours: 40 hours as standard + overtime as needed and may require some overnight stays

Duties of the Field Service Engineer will include:

• Deal with daily fault requests, PPM duties and installation activities for a broad client base in the passenger carrying vehicle industry
• Support in service activities including installation and fault rectification
• Assist in the training of Field Service Engineers
• Responsible for own stock control and spare parts
• Ensure clear and continuous communication between the field and the regional management.

We would be keen to speak with Field Service Engineers with the following:

• Electrical qualification – NVQ, BTEC or Apprentice trained
• Knowledge of the bus/vehicle industry, CCTV or electrical
• Relevant industry experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving license

This Field Service Engineer role is ideal for someone who is technically driven and would suit people from a vehicle technology background or other industries that you have been hands on in a technical engineering environment. Due to the nature of the role, occasional travel and overnight stays away from home may be required.
