Job Description

Join an experienced Engineering Team as a Full Time Field Service Technician in the Agricultural/Dairy sector. Installing state of the art agricultural technology, you will be at the cutting edge of modernising farms and making them operate to maximum efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a background in agriculture, knowledge of the industry and experience of dairy farm equipment. A background in electrical or automated milking systems would be preferred although not essential as training will be provided. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work alone or as part of a team, with good communication skills and a positive attitude. The position will involve travel to sites across Scotland.

McCaskie Agriculture specialise in the installation and servicing of automated and conventional dairy systems. We complement this with milk cooling and processing technologies and full agricultural electrical installations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Installation of dairy parlours/equipment
  2. Test finished products and system capabilities
  3. Keep necessary equipment operational
  4. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results

Qualifications:

  1. Relevant experience or Electrical and mechanical aptitude
