Field Service Technician

Position: Field Service Technician
Location: Inverness
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, service, repair, and test equipment at customers’ premises, on-site, or in our workshop.
• Complete equipment pre-delivery inspections as necessary.
• Perform equipment service, diagnosis, repair, and/or testing as scheduled to departmental and Company standards.
• Provide standard guidance and advice to junior colleagues through on-the-job training.
• Maintain accurate records of works undertaken, including job tickets, timesheets, and other required paperwork.
• Be responsible for any assigned vehicle's maintenance checks on a daily basis, reporting defects or similar to the line manager as soon as possible.
• Be available and responsible for emergency call-outs, working on a rota basis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a mechanical field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
