Job Description:

As a Mechanical Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repairs of renewable energy equipment. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment installations, and plant refurbishment projects, including confined space works, industrial cleaning, mixing systems, pneumatic systems, pumping solutions, and hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components.
2. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
3. Support the installation and servicing of renewable energy systems.
4. Carry out general labouring duties in a workshop and site environment.
5. Follow all health and safety protocols to support a safe working environment.
6. Work collaboratively with engineers and technicians to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a mechanical labouring or similar role.
2. Experience in pipe fabrication and welding (highly desirable).
3. Experience in confined spaces (desirable).
4. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and hand tools.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
9. A valid driving licence.
