Overview

Delve are currently working with a company who focus on automated chemistry analysers for multiple different industries who are looking for a Field Service Engineer. The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone with a background in field service and enjoys working with analytical equipment.

Location: Remote with frequent travel across the M4 corridor.

The role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for meeting with customers on site to service and calibrate analytical equipment.

Responsibilities

  1. Installation of analytical equipment at customer sites
  2. Training of customers on analytical equipment - operation and maintenance
  3. Report writing after customer visits

Travel

This role is a field-based position which requires frequent travelling to customers onsite 80% of the time. The role will cover customers along the M4 corridor so we are looking for someone who has the freedom to travel and enjoys being customer-facing.

The successful candidate will have a 4 week training period in the Netherlands where they will be training on all aspects of the companies instruments and applications.

Skills and experience

  1. Prior experience in a field service role
  2. Good knowledge of analytical equipment
  3. Excellent customer facing skills
  4. Valid driving license is essential
  5. Willingness to travel across the UK with regular overnight stays
