In a nutshell…
Our client is a global leader in the maintenance, service & repair of a wide range of engines and components within the Marine Industry. With a global footprint in over a dozen countries from the EU to an International stage, they are now looking to expand their team with an additional Engineer to join an exciting company offering a wide range of global travel.

Working within an established team, you will play a pivotal role in covering the Southern Coast area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on industrial marine equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in Plant, Marine, or HGV Machinery.

What's involved for the Field Service Engineer…

1. Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial equipment
2. Carry out refurbishments and repairs to a wide range of industry-specific motors of all sizes
3. Project work with sustained periods away from home
4. Attend company and client sites which involves extensive EU & international travel
5. Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles

What you'll need…

1. 3 years minimum experience within a marine engineering environment
2. 3 - 5 years' experience working with Plant, Marine, or HGV Machinery
3. Working with MAN, VOLVO, ABB or Cummins is desirable
4. Ability to interpret technical information and be a problem solver reducing downtime
5. Work under own self-esteem and as part of a team
6. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
7. Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full-time, permanent Field Service Engineer role, working Monday to Friday 40 hours basic per week.
