In a nutshell…
Our client is a global leader in the maintenance, service & repair to a wide range of engines and components within the Marine Industry. With a global footprint in over a dozen countries from the EU to an International stage they are now looking to expand their team with an additional Engineer to join an exciting company offering a wide range of global travel.
Working within an established team you will play a pivotal role in covering the Southern Coast area carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work on industrial marine equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background in Plant, Marine or HGV Machinery.
What's involved for the Field Service Engineer…
- Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial equipment
- Carry out refurbishments and repair to a wide range of industry specific motors of all sizes
- Project work with sustained periods away from home
- Attend company and client sites which involves Extensive EU & International travel
- Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on a range of marine engines
What you'll need…
- 1 year's minimum experience within a marine engineering environment
- 3 -5 years' experience working with Plant, Marine or HGV Machinery
- Working with MAN, VOLVO, ABB or Cummins is desirable
- Ability to interpret technical information and be a problem solver reducing downtime
- Work under own self-esteem and part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
- Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent Field Service Engineer role, working Monday to Friday 40 hours basic per week.
