Field Service Engineer – Machine Tool OEM
Location: Field-based – Predominantly South of England, but UK-wide travel required
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Benefits

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll travel to customer sites across the UK, with a focus on the South of England, ensuring high-performance operation of advanced CNC machine tools. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reactive & Preventative Maintenance – Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Machine Installations & Commissioning – Ensuring new equipment is set up and running optimally.
- Servicing & Repairs – Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Customer Training & Support – Advising engineers on best practices and machine operation.
- OEM Training & Development – Receive world-class training, including visits to overseas sites.

What You Need
- Apprentice-trained in an engineering discipline – Mechanical, electrical, or similar.
- Hands-on maintenance experience – Machine tool or CNC knowledge beneficial but not essential.
- Openness to learn – Willingness to develop new skills and adapt to new technology.
- Comfortable with extensive travel & nights away – This role involves regular overnight stays.
- Full UK driving licence – Essential for nationwide travel.
