Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established, expanding material handling company looking to recruit a new Field Service Engineer to cover West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. With a competitive basic salary and excellent additional benefits, this is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to get into a new role or industry with progression potential.
- Servicing a client base across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas with a focus on servicing forklift trucks.
- Fixing and servicing other related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites.
- Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call.
You will ideally have experience within the Material Handling industry; however, this isn’t essential. The company is also open to candidates from plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles, or other industries with a strong hydraulics/mechanical or diagnostics focus. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in West Yorkshire.
- Competitive salary (up to £33k depending on experience).
- Company Van.
- Overtime opportunity; paid time and a half.
- 22 days holiday + statutory.
