Field Service Engineer - CNC Machinery

A truly excellent position has arisen within this leading global manufacturer of automated machining centres for a Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands including Worcester, Redditch, Warwick, Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Evesham and the surrounding areas.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the UK Engineering Manager, it is the role of the Field Service Engineer to maintain and service a range of equipment and machinery. You will be based from home, and you could live in the Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Warwick, Birmingham or surrounding areas. Duties Include:

1. Fault-finding on CNC Machinery
2. Service of Automation Machinery
3. Technical Support
4. Installation

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in the role of Service Engineer you will need good electro-mechanical maintenance skills along with a technical qualification such as a City and Guilds/ONC/HNC etc. in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering. You will need to be self-motivated, trustworthy and organised. Successful applicants will have experience of working in a maintenance, service, commissioning or similar technical role.
