Field Service Engineer (Busses / Coaches / PCV)
£50,000 - £55,000 (OTE 60K) + 26 Days Holiday + Van + Training + Progression

Are you a Service/Maintenance Engineer from a Coach or Bus background with diagnostics knowledge looking for a days-based role in a long-standing company that offers Monday-Friday hours and no mandatory weekend work?

In this role, you will be servicing passenger carrying vehicles around Birmingham to complete warranty repairs and routine maintenance. Working autonomously, you will have parts shipped to site and work to repair the vehicles at depots around Oxford. Occasional overtime will be necessary, with around 5 hours available each week paid at enhanced rates.

This company manufactures a range of public service vehicles and HGVs. They develop unique drivetrains to curb emissions, with the latest buses being powered by natural gas, batteries, or hydrogen.

This role would suit a Service/Maintenance Engineer with a Bus or Coach background looking for a days-based, Monday-Friday role that offers great work-life balance and generous remuneration.

The Role:

  1. Hands-on Maintenance, repairs, and servicing of passenger carrying vehicles
  2. A mix of planned service and reactive repairs
  3. Monday - Friday, 8:30-4:30 with overtime opportunities available
  4. Training on Air Suspension, Hybrid/EV Drive trains and FGAS Certification

The Person:

  1. PCV, Bus or Coach Maintenance / Service Engineer
  2. Diagnostics Knowledge
  3. UK Driving License
