Cambridge, London, Milton Keynes, Luton, Chelmsford, Northampton, Oxford

£31,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary (D.O.E) (£14.95 - £17.10ph) + Company Vehicle + Healthcare + Tools + Pension + Overtime (1.5x Mon - Sat, 2x Sun & BH) + [London weighting £2450]

The Role of the Field Service Engineer:

  • Based from home and visiting customers across a territory.
  • Conducting service, repair, and maintenance on a range of balers, compactors and conveyor systems.
  • Predominantly a mechanical role with lots of involvement on hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out fault-finding on machinery.
  • Support customers with end-user training.
  • Compiling reports for internal and customer use.
  • A Mon - Fri role with overtime available over 40 hours.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Ideally you'll be experienced with hydraulic baling and compacting systems.
  • Hold a formal engineering qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, etc.
  • Candidates from a related industry or experience on large pieces of mechanical kit are advised to apply, along with those from an engineering background in the Armed Forces.
  • Hold a full UK drivers licence and have right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

The Package for the Field Service Engineer:

  • £31,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary (D.O.E) (£14.95 - £17.10ph) [London weighting £2450].
  • Door to Door Pay.
  • Company Vehicle.
  • Overtime (1.5x Mon - Sat, 2x Sun & BH).
  • Healthcare + Tools + Pension + Phone + Laptop.
  • 20 days holiday plus stats (increasing by 1 per year with time served).
