Location: Based in Bradford but Travelling Across the UK

The Company

Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a company that supplies packaging solutions to some of the biggest names in the FMCG industry. As a Field Service Engineer, you will conduct a mix of workshop, field, install, and service work across the UK for a range of different clients and industries, perfect for engineers who love meeting new people and working on different types of machinery.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• 50% of the work is servicing at a range of different client sites, installing, maintaining, and servicing production lines.
• Conducting 50% workshop work based out of the site in Bradford.
• The role is multi-skilled, so you will be fault-finding on electrical and mechanical components while also working on PLCs.

Requirements

To work as a Field Service Engineer, our client requires:

• A qualification or apprenticeship (NVQ level 3 minimum) in either mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Previous experience in fault finding mechanically and electrically.
• You must be commutable to Bradford, although a lot of the work is out in the field.
• A full UK driving licence.
