A bit about the role:
My client is looking for a highly motivated individual, who is focused on giving technical assistance on my client’s products & their customer’s needs.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support both on the mechanical and electrical aspects of the role.
Within the role of the Field Service Engineer, you will be helping our client’s customers within the Vacuum, Pumps, and Heat Treatment industry.
In the role of a Field Service Power Engineer, you will be required to have an all-rounded engineering knowledge, such as PLC systems (ideally Siemens or Wonderware).
This role will include all phases of dealing with customers and maintaining and developing customer breakdowns.
Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer who has installation experience but can also identify opportunities for our clients to improve their systems and give quotations.
Due to this being a field service-based position, a company car will be included.
What’s required:
Full UK Driving License.
This role does require someone who is comfortable with occasional work away from home and overtime on weekends (including public holidays).
Willingness to travel and stay away from home dependent on project needs.
Ideally, someone with a background in Heat Treatment, Vacuum systems, or pumps would be an advantage but not crucial.
Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical aspects of engineering.
