Purpose

As a Field Service Engineer, covering London and the South East, you'll play a crucial part in the installation and after-service care of the high-quality industrial machinery this renowned engineering company supplies.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

1. Travel to customer sites to carry out planned maintenance and repair.
2. Carry out breakdown repairs.
3. Install new machinery and deliver training on its use.
4. Deliver friendly and professional customer service, acting as a brand ambassador.
5. Maintain the company vehicle and tools.
6. Ensure accurate completion of documentation, ensuring any faults are reported.

Background

The successful Field Service Engineer will have:

1. A full, clean driver's licence.
2. Practical knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.
3. Previous experience working on equipment which encompasses hydraulic/pneumatic and electrical components (such as heavy plant machinery).
4. Good fault-finding abilities.
5. Ability to work on your own initiative, as lone working will be required.
