Job description

Working independently representing my client at Customer premises, this role supports the field service team. The role covers installation, service, repair, and calibration of their precision measuring equipment. This is a field-based role focusing mainly on their customer base in the North of the UK, although travel further afield maybe required as well as occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customer sites
  • Install precision measuring equipment.
  • Complete service and calibration work.
  • Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification.

Key requirements

  • Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
  • Effective communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Full valid driving license.
  • Experience of fault finding on mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Have good interpersonal skills.
