Field Service Engineer - Capital Equipment / industrial cleaning machines

Area: Slough, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

The role of Field Service Engineer is:

• To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites.
• 80% servicing pressure washers and floor care machines; 20% servicing road sweeper municipal machinery.
• The Field Service Engineer will identify and communicate to customers solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance.
• To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements, and feedback of such information.
• To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit.
• Provide customers with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro-mechanical or electrical or mechanical).
• Experience servicing equipment such as diesel engines, vehicle electrics, industrial machines, municipal equipment, plant hire, capital equipment, pressure washers, hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, FLT Forklift Trucks, horticultural/agricultural machinery, material handling MHE, White Goods, etc. are of interest.

The Package on offer for the Field Service Engineer

• £38,000 rising to £39,250
• Monday to Friday, 40 hrs per week
• Overtime available up to circa £50,000
• Fully expensed company vehicle
