Salary: £40,000-£45,000 + £2,000 Location Allowance (if within 50 miles of Central London)
Location: Field-based - Covering A23/M23 corridor (Croydon to Crawley)
Hours: Monday-Friday (Field-based - 80% planned, 20% reactive)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

1. £40,000-£45,000 salary + £2,000 location allowance
2. Overtime: 1.33x (Weekdays), 1.5x (Saturdays), 2.0x (Sundays & Bank Holidays)

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on high-spec machinery
2. Diagnosing and repairing electro-mechanical faults
3. Installing and commissioning new equipment at customer sites
4. Advising clients on technical issues and delivering excellent customer service
5. Completing service records and job reports accurately
6. Attending industry training and staying updated on the latest techniques

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

1. Strong electro-mechanical background (any industry considered)
2. Previous field service experience is a bonus
3. Confident with fault finding and reading schematics
4. Full UK driving licence
5. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
6. Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in the field
