Qualifications

  • Experience with environmental test chambers is beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC is required.

Job description

Service Engineer
Remote (UK travel + occasional Ireland)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Company Van

A respected, independent engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke environmental test chambers, serving sectors from EV and aerospace to electronics and academia are currently looking for an experienced Service Engineer.

The factory is based in Mid Wales and they operate UK-wide. They recently became an Employee-Owned Business, giving their team a real stake in their future.

The Role
  1. Carry out maintenance, calibration, and repairs on refrigeration, electrical, and humidity systems
  2. Diagnose faults and perform upgrades and retrofits
  3. Work on-site with customers and occasionally at the Talgarth workshop
  4. Support new project installations
  5. Help build strong customer relationships and enhance our service offering
The Person
  1. Experience with environmental test chambers would be beneficial
  2. You will need strong knowledge of refrigeration systems /HVAC
  3. F-Gas certification (City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent)
  4. Solid electrical and electronic controls knowledge
  5. Pipework/brazing/soldering skills
  6. Confident working independently and managing your own time
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  8. Full UK driving licence (clean)
