Are you a Field Service Engineer or Plant Fitter looking for a new challenge?

Palfinger UK is the exclusive UK distributor for the premium Palfinger Lorry Cranes and Epsilon Recycling Cranes.

Due to demand, we have an exciting opening for a Field Service Engineer to join our specialist aftersales team.

We're looking for a suitable engineer who ideally lives in the Aberdeen area, or the wider region.

Exceptional field service support is at the heart of our business. We're trusted to supply and maintain some of the world's most advanced and innovative lifting machines.

This is your chance to become a specialist field service engineer, managing your own territory and maintaining our advanced cranes.

Duties:

It's a highly professional environment.

You'll be based from home and provided with all the specialist equipment & technology necessary. Each day you'll be visiting our customers across the region, conducting the following:

  1. Routine crane servicing & warranty work.
  2. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on customer sites.
  3. Performing thorough examinations / LOLER inspections and necessary compliance checks.
  4. Providing technical support to customers.

Training

We offer a comprehensive manufacturer training schedule that builds on your knowledge and develops you into an experienced Palfinger Field Service Engineer.

You'll receive full support & robust training every step of the way.

If you're passionate about your work, with a strong customer focus you'll fit right in!

It's essential that you're an existing field service engineer with mechanical, hydraulic & electrical experience maintaining similar equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, cranes, HGV's, Forklifts, Tailifts etc.

Ideally applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in a relevant discipline.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
