Title: Business Development Manager - Solar PV Solutions

The COMPANY

Our Client is part of a well established Group concentrating on renewable energy equipment engineering OEM, design/install/maintain and distribution companies who have been at the forefront of the renewables sector for several decades. They are among the UK acknowledged market leaders in the design and install of renewable products such as heat source pumps and solar, having gained an enviable reputation for both the quality of their projects and after-sales service. This Division concentrate on delivering solar and battery storage solutions.

The ROLE

An opportunity has arisen for a strong Solar PV Business Development Manager to invigorate their sales within this sector - concentrating on commercial opportunities with Heads of Renewables, Sustainability Managers, end-user companies, Main Contractors, M&E Contractors, Architects and Consultants. You will be integral to the company's continued growth and an important part of the management team.

You will be responsible for identifying and winning opportunities, generally 50KW - 250KW, to medium sized businesses, with Clients looking for a solution to manage their energy.

The CANDIDATE

Our client is looking for a Solar PV Business Development Manager with the following experience:

  1. Solution sales experience within construction industry
  2. Experience selling in this vertical
  3. Excellent sales skills, not scared of generating new business
