Job Title: Field Sales Representative - New Accounts

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to be responsible for generating revenue by closing sales of assigned new business opportunities for the Viewpoint for Projects and Viewpoint Field View products. Success in this position requires the ability to travel, prospect for new business, qualify, conduct thorough account planning, research and discovery, then prepare and present customized company overviews and product demonstrations, handle contract negotiations, and close new deals. You will be responsible for finding, developing, and closing new contracts for software subscriptions and consulting services from assigned construction and engineering vertical accounts.

What You Will Do:

  1. You will be working in cooperation with other Viewpoint sales and business development managers to develop strategic relationships and help identify opportunities for adjacent areas of the business.
  2. Tracking of sales opportunities and establishing a qualified pipeline and accurate forecasting of new bookings based on our sales process.
  3. Carry out customer presentations, creation of proposals, product demonstrations, and closing business.
  4. Maintain a strategic territory development plan.
  5. Co-ordinate involvement of Lead Development, Sales Engineers, Customer Service Managers and Professional Services as required.
  6. Keeping all records up to date in the company CRM (Salesforce).

Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

  1. You have a good understanding of the Ireland construction sector.
  2. Proven track record of New Business Development with experience in selling technology solutions (SaaS) into the construction sector, e.g. Contractors, Subcontractors and House Builders.
  3. Sound understanding of technology and the role it plays in the Construction sector.
  4. Experience of working in a highly competitive environment dealing with complex tenders and meeting strict deadlines.
  5. Experience of using some sales methodology, e.g. Challenger and the effective use of CRM tool, ideally Salesforce.
  6. Fluent communication, presentations and negotiation skills in English.
  7. Sales pipeline management and forecasting.
  8. Organised and methodical approach to work.
  9. Motivated self-starter and team player with ability to take ownership.
  10. Ability and willingness to travel, at least 20%.
