With over 140 years of trading history, my client is a well-established, fifth-generation timber merchant known for its trusted service, quality products, and strong customer relationships. Family-run and proudly independent, they're now looking to grow their field sales presence across a key region.

The Role:
As Field Sales Representative, you'll take full ownership of a well-established patch that includes a healthy mix of existing customers and new business opportunities. Operating with full autonomy, you'll manage your diary, grow relationships, and drive sales - all without micromanagement or unrealistic targets.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally within timber, construction, or builders merchants
2. Strong relationship-building and communication skills
3. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
4. A customer-first mindset and a passion for sales

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and grow sales across Towcester, Silverstone, Andover, and Bristol
2. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities
3. Deliver excellent product knowledge and service
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experiences
5. Represent a heritage brand in a competitive market
