Field Maintenance Engineer

Arthur Rose Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an Engineering and Manufacturing Company in Batley for the following:

Mechanical Fitter

The Role:

1. Setting blades and completing planned preventive maintenance to the customer's needs.
2. Disassemble and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables.
3. Attend client sites and undertake instructions on PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.
4. Provide excellent customer service, listening carefully to customer concerns and addressing issues until the customer is satisfied.
5. Update and maintain assigned machines per manufacturer specifications.
6. Notify office of parts needed to order.
7. Liaise with office teams to discuss client requirements.
8. Undertake PPM and reactive maintenance whilst instructing client on basic fixes.
9. Working with Hydraulics and pneumatics.
10. Machine installs and sign offs.

Essential Requirements:

1. Drivers License.
2. NVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
3. Good Customer Service Skills.
4. TIG Welding & Fabricating Skills would be advantageous.

Pay: £35,000 - OTE earnings £55,000.
