Hours: 36 Hours, Mon- Fri, plus inclusion onto a standby Rota for which you will receive additional payment
Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum depending on previous experience

We have an exciting opportunity at Thames Water to join our Home Counties Waste Network team as a Field Engineer.
Your role will be to set up / oversee emergency and planned flow management activity (e.g. tinkering and over-pumping) on the sewer network, often collaborating with colleagues in the logistics team and Network Engineers. You will also work closely with our civil and non-civil service providers to ensure that network repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently so that flow management activity can be stood down as soon as possible.
In addition, the successful candidate will oversee the plant hire process for their area, ensuring equipment is returned when no longer needed and monthly charges incurred are accurate. During quieter periods, the field engineer will carry out infiltration investigations to support the targeting of planned investment in the region to reduce pollution and flooding incidents.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be expected to travel across a wide area between North and South Home Counties.
