About Johnson Controls

In the UK&I, our Service team delivers innovative maintenance and service solutions to a diverse customer base across all industry sectors, including HVAC, chillers, industrial refrigeration, controls, and mechanical and electrical works. Our Building Efficiency division enhances energy efficiency and reduces operating costs for over one million customers worldwide.

What You Will Do

We're looking for an experienced HVAC Field Delivery Manager to lead, inspire, and manage a team of skilled technicians. In this role, you'll oversee resource planning and cultivate a motivating environment where your team can thrive and meet high-performance standards. You'll ensure contractual obligations are met and customer satisfaction remains a top priority by understanding their requirements and coordinating work assignments efficiently. It's a hybrid type of role to cover the South East of the UK, including Greater London with a mixture of office-based (Basildon), and site working.

How You Will Do It

  • Lead your team with confidence, making sound decisions even in ambiguous situations and driving change initiatives.
  • Prepare and implement remedial repair quotations to maintain expected business margins.
  • Ensure site-specific RAMS are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements.
  • Oversee technician tools and equipment management, including PAT testing and calibration.
  • Balance commercial priorities while managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement effective planning and organisational strategies to meet service-level targets.
  • Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning for both yourself and your team.
  • Promote collaboration across internal teams and external partners to drive improvement and establish best practices.
What We Look For

  • Proven experience in the HVAC industry coupled with a solid working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems in industrial and commercial settings.
  • Previous supervisory experience; an IOSH qualification is advantageous.
  • Ability to influence, manage, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Apple iPad systems.
What We Offer

At Johnson Controls, we believe in supporting our employees with a culture that values work-life balance and continuous learning. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Competitive salary and management incentive bonus
  • Life assurance and Holiday purchase scheme
  • Company car & IT equipment provided
  • Mental health support and development opportunities
  • Employee referral scheme and discounts on Johnson Controls security products (including ADT Smart Home)
  • Voluntary benefit schemes, including childcare vouchers, cycle-to-work programs, eye care vouchers, and high street discounts.
If you're ready to take the next step in your career and lead a high-performing team in a globally recognised organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
