We are looking for a Field Care Supervisor who will be assisting the CQC Quality manager in ensuring that staff are performing safely and up to the required standard. Thus, giving our Service User the best service possible, while ensuring any service user concerns are passed up to the quality manager in a timely and effective manner.
Locations: Haringey area – on the road and Office.
Shifts available: Full time. Permanent Monday to Friday – flexibility in hours – (weekend availability 1 in 4 on call rota or if required in an emergency)

Experience as a Field Care Supervisor or minimum 1 year’s experience in the care profession essential. All applicants must have a good level of spoken and written English and be eligible to work in the UK. Holding a Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle preferred.
About the Role:
Due to our growth in number of carers and clients we are now recruiting for a Field Care Supervisor who is a driven and caring professional to join our friendly office. You will help manage and develop the business, ensuring we always have best practice, full compliance and a well support care team.
Duties will include:
- Understanding and meeting our client needs
- Supporting and undertaking regular supervisions with your care team
- Supporting your care team with calls as and when required
- You will be responsible for implementing field-based quality control systems and providing support to your care team
- Arranging initial visits to, and the assessment of, prospective Service Users to decide whether Sama Care Ltd can meet their personal care needs and negotiating an appropriate fee with the purchasing authority, or the customer or customer’s family if not eligible for local authority support.
- Conduct Care Plans with Risk Assessments as part of the Individual Needs Assessment and to update these as required as part of the Service User's risk management;
- Delivering personal and non-personal care to service users if necessary
- Carry out introductory visits every time a Care Worker visits a Service User for the first time.
- Liaise closely with Care Coordinators regarding recruitment, permanent allocation of Care Workers and the writing of Care & Support Plans
- Identify any training needs of Care Workers and report accordingly.
- Conduct Care Reviews and respond to Individual Review Forms completed by Care Workers
- Report any changes in a Service User to the Care Coordinator/ Line Manager
- Monitor, supervise and mentor all Care Workers in the field
- Encourage and identify opportunities for Care Workers' continuing professional development.
- Monitor all Service Users for customer satisfaction
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation held in Service Users' homes/files/IT systems.
- Ensure that all written reports and administration is up to date
- Liaise closely with the Quality Manager and Care Coordinator in the office and report back regularly on activity in the field.
- Liaising with GP's, District Nurses, Social Services, and other Health Professionals.
- Participate in on-call rota.
- Ensure rostering systems are implemented through the electronic system and all carers are assigned. Ensuring all service user calls have been assigned.

Qualifications/licences:
- Completing QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification and upwards.
- If you have level 3 Health & Social care you could work toward level 5 with us.
- Full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
