Job Purpose
The Field-Based Digital Product Trainer plays a crucial role in training and supporting dental professionals in the seamless adoption of Intraoral Scanners (IOS) and other Straumann digital solutions. This individual will work closely with our enterprise solutions customers, private dental clinics, and dental laboratories to ensure successful technology integration, workflow optimization, and long-term digital adoption. As a key advocate for digital transformation, the trainer will not only educate users on how to operate the IOS effectively but also support the Digital Success Manager (DSM) in driving the successful integration and adoption of Straumann digital products. Through engaging, structured, and hands-on training, this role will help dental professionals maximize their investment in digital dentistry, ultimately reinforcing Straumann’s position as a leader in the market. This role requires an enthusiastic, organised, and adaptable professional with strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. The trainer must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, engaging with practice managers, clinicians, and dental teams to inspire confidence in digital solutions. Additionally, a data-driven mindset is crucial, as success in this role will be measured by adoption rates, engagement levels, and practice performance improvements. In addition to training, 30% of this role will involve supporting the 1st-level digital support team, assisting with basic troubleshooting, user inquiries, and technical guidance to enhance the overall customer experience. This is a field-based position requiring approximately 70% travel, with flexibility for varied working hours based on customer needs, as well as occasional weekend work for industry events and trade shows.
