Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing Building Service Specialists based in Bulwell who are looking to hire a Commercial Gas Engineer on a full time, permanent basis. Their successful candidate will carry out annual services and scheduled maintenance visits, along with completing required Gas Safety certificates and any other relevant documentations on completion of work. They will also install new heating and hot water systems, rectify faults with equipment and systems, and attend reactive call outs to plumbing jobs on request. They will also work to a 1-in-7-weeks callout standby rota.

Their ideal candidate will be a time-served and qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with experience working with air handling/ventilation systems. They will have excellent communication and be motivated to work to the highest standard. The following qualifications are essential to apply for this role: COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT1, G3 (Unvented Hot Water Heaters), IPAF, and PASMA.

Due to the nature of this role, a full clean UK driving licence is essential to applying for this role.

In return, they are offering a competitive salary of up to c£40,500 per annum D.O.E alongside a generous benefits package including door-to-door overtime paid time-and-a-half, callout standby pay of £10, company van and fuel card, lodge card, company phone, pension scheme, and more! Potential on-target earnings of up to c£55,000 per annum D.O.E!

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out annual and scheduled maintenance visits
• Complete Gas Certificates and relevant documents on completion of work
• Install new heaters and hot water systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and rectify faults to equipment and systems
• Contact manufacturers to query technical faults and warranties for parts and materials
• Attend reactive call out plumbing jobs on request
• Work to a 1-in-7-weeks callout standby rota

Skills and Experience

• Time served and qualified Gas Engineer, with Commercial experience being essential
• Experience working with air handing and ventilation systems
• Excellent communication and self-motivated to complete work to highest standard
• COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CEN1, CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT1, G3 (Unvented Hot Water Heaters), IPAF, and PASMA qualifications are all essential
• Be comfortable working away from home every so often for required service visits
