Job description

I'm working closely with a client in the defence space to hire a Field Application Engineer, working closely with the sales engineering team in Virginia to deliver customer support (across the whole of the US) often for military personnel working on high tech military comms systems.

You will need a strong understanding of RF (knowledge of component level design) and proven interactions with clients in a face to face setting. Ability to travel across the USA and located close enough to Washington to visit the office.

Ideally, you'll come from a military background knowing how to work with army, navy or air force teams to install and support RF communication equipment in sometimes tough weather conditions.

I can explain more over a phone call, but due to the nature of the work and client, I cannot reveal too much before an initial phone call. I must also stress that this role requires the right to work in the USA and if you also have security clearance/are able to get onto a military base, this is a bonus.
