Job description

A market leader in the water treatment industry is looking for a Specification Field Sales Account Manager/Commercial Sales Account Manager! They are looking for a strategic Account Manager who will sell water treatment solutions to Mechanical Engineers, Consultants, and commercial clients. Do you have an interest in design, technical sales, and science? This role will also involve commercial sales.


Salary:
£40k-£45k OTE £10K which includes a team bonus and a personal commission uncapped plus a £7,020 car allowance/Car + a fuel card. Head office based in Buckinghamshire.


This role will be 50/50 with regards to Specification and Commercial. You will be working with another Account Manager who works part-time and covers this territory:


Territory: KENT, SURREY, SUSSEX & SOUTH EAST LONDON


If you want to work in the office for more days, that is also possible, but due to the patch, working from home is fine, and visiting the office once a month is acceptable.


You will have existing accounts to tap into, some of which are Key Accounts, lapsed, and old accounts, as well as being the technical expert, advising and influencing clients on what water treatment solutions they may need for their buildings. It is all about relationship building!


Responsibilities:
  1. Support the sales team/company in updating the regions' relevant projects and accounts on the CRM. Update the CRM with all actions in a timely manner.
  2. Visit Building Mechanical Contractors to build effective working relationships and sell the brand's products, which could be office or site-based visits.
  3. Visit Merchants to build effective working relationships and sell the brand's products.
  4. Visit Building Consultants to build effective working relationships and design with the consultant the water treatment required on commercial builds over the UK, ensuring the products are specified.
  5. Make effective sales calls to maximize exposure in the marketplace business-to-business and business-to-end user.
  6. Possess strong technical prowess within the water treatment industry or have the ability and willingness to learn quickly. Understanding of water treatment design and plant room schematics will be required to maximize efficiency in the role.
  7. Attend and identify any training needs and request assistance when required.
  8. Carry out water treatment CPDs at consultant sites.
  9. Demonstrate daily the company's core values and support, being part of the company's mission statement.

This role is all about building those relationships with the Building Consultants. You will work with them and go into the Plant Room to design a water treatment solution that will work for that building and the designs.

  1. Company hire car until passing of 3-month probation period. Once confirmed, £585 a month car allowance. Fuel card provided.
  2. 20 days holiday + bank holidays, set office closure period, holiday entitlement increases after 5 years working within the company.
