Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory for this role.

Contract - 1 year fixed term contract from Sep 2025 (including June - July 2025), expected to work Full-Time hours

£162 - £251 Per day

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons
  • Assess and evaluate student performance in PE activities
  • Develop and implement PE curriculum in line with educational standards
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their potential
  • Organise and supervise sports events and activities
  • Promote physical fitness and well-being among students
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialisation in Physical Education
  • Enhanced DBS check

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Physical Education

Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge of PE curriculum and teaching methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
  • Experience in coaching or leading sports teams

The role involves working in a school environment, interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. It may require participation in extracurricular activities and events outside regular school hours.
