Our client seeks a Feed Sales to join their sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Introduce the company and product range to the regional FA market which centrally consists of B2B interaction with large integrated farming operations and feed & premix producers.
Work with Global Product Lead to plan and organize to achieve budget within certain global markets.
Establish and support new customers in the animal feed trade for the Feed Additives Desk.
Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Keep management abreast of market information.
Key Skills and Experience:
Degree or qualification in agricultural, animal science, veterinary medicine or equivalent would be preferred but is not essential. (Essential)
Sound understanding of container logistics and stock handling. (Essential)
Knowledge of animal nutrition sufficient to sell to nutritionists and technical buyers would be beneficial. (Advantageous)
Knowledge of feed additives or the animal feed/animal health industries would be useful. (Advantageous)
Willingness to travel internationally.
Target driven, self-motivated and ambitious.
Commercially astute and perceptive.
Ability to conduct preliminary analysis in new markets and work with management to develop actionable strategies.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
