We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated FE Business Lecturer to join our dynamic team in Harrow, London. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary range of £32,455-£45,260 per annum, including London weighting.

As an FE Business Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and inspiring students in the field of business. We are looking for a passionate FE Business Lecturer who can engage learners and support their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging lessons in business studies.
2. Support students’ learning and development.
3. Provide feedback and guidance to help students achieve their potential.

Qualifications

1. A degree in Business, Management or related subject area
2. Minimum level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (e.g. DET, PGCE) or willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification, supported by the College
3. Assessor award (A1 or equivalent)

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1. Experience of teaching BTEC Business Level 1, 2 or 3
2. Evidence of delivering high rates of student attendance, retention and achievement, including details of the methods you have used to achieve this
3. The ability to engage and inspire vocational Business learners aged 16-18
4. Up-to-date knowledge of Business and evidence of continuing professional development
5. Previous experience of working in Business
6. Knowledge and experience of T level qualifications
7. Ability to take on course leadership responsibilities
8. Good communication skills, written and verbal
9. Good planning and organisational skills
10. Good classroom practice
11. Good IT skills
12. Ability to use IT within the curriculum including ability to deliver effective teaching online
13. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
14. Understanding of the importance of Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding in an education environment
15. Self-motivation
16. Commitment to learners and learner achievement.

FE Business Lecturer candidates should have a strong background in business education, along with excellent communication skills. The start date for the role is to be confirmed, but applications must be received by 6th April 2025.
