FCAW Welder

The contract is workshop based and you will be working in a team of Platers and Welders.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced FCAW Welder for a short term contract.

You must be available to test on Wednesday 19th March to then go straight onto the job once passed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on carbon steel
2. Ensure high-quality welds in compliance with industry standards
3. Work in a 6G welding position, adhering to safety and operational protocols
4. Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve project goals
5. Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment as necessary
6. Adhere to project timelines and work schedules

Job Requirements:

1. FCAW experience ideally in marine/oil & gas or other heavy industries
2. Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and protocols
3. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills
5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
