Do you have experience working in a farming or agriculture environment with strong knowledge of livestock?

Are you looking for a role that is Monday to Friday, with no shift work, that offers variety and where you will make a real difference to the next generation of agricultural farmers?

The college is renowned for its quality and has invested significantly in state-of-the-art facilities. In this role, you will be based in York, teaching farmer apprentices about agricultural farming with a focus on crops and soil.

In this role, the successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering a specific Agric Course, backed up with specialist industry knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for a specific group of learners, ensuring they are progressing and developing within their areas.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience in a farming or agriculture environment with strong knowledge of livestock and livestock management.
  2. A desire to move into a trainer role.

The role includes:
  1. Teaching students specific courses on livestock and livestock management.
  2. Coaching.
  3. Mentoring.
  4. Full training provided.
